HPTLC Webinars for a better understanding of the technique and instrumentation

by | Aug 21, 2021

Digital learning has become a part of our life due to the pandemic. All the activities related to learning, business, sales are being done online.

We at Anchrom also adopted digital means to carry out a large number of activities, from sales meetings with customers to online service support. Previously, we were conducting HPTLC seminars in association with Universities across the country which came to a halt in March 2020. During this period, we took an initiative of starting series of Webinars with Universities, Govt. labs and Private companies on CAMAG HPTLC: technique and its multiple applications. We purchased the Zoom Webinar license that can accommodate 500 students in one Webinar session. The industry and academia covered by us was as follows:

●        Herbal companies

●        Pharmaceutical companies

●        Food labs and companies

●        Forensic labs

●        Drug testing labs

●        Pharmaceutical Colleges

●        Ayurvedic Colleges

●        Graduate and Post-graduate courses in Analytical Chemistry

The initiative was started in May 2020 and in one year, by May 2021; we covered 18,017 students and industry professionals by conducting a total of 168 Webinars. The various topics covered were as follows:

●        Understanding of HPTLC

●        HPTLC and Regulatory Compliance

●        Method development in HPTLC

●        Validation in HPTLC

●        Applications of HPTLC (Pharmaceutical, Herbal, Forensic, Food)

●        Hyphenation and effect directed analysis in HPTLC

The positive feedback received from both industry and academia has motivated us to continue the series of webinars which was initially planned for one year.
